Why Personal Goals?

Do you set New Years resolutions that peter out by February? Get excited by something new that you’ve learned, but can’t make it stick? Do you try to make changes in your home or your routine and blame others for not following along? I hear ya!

Making changes starts with setting goals, but so many of us just jump in without the proper thought work and then get frustrated when we struggle or give up on those changes. Stop the vicious cycle!

I always defined myself as risk averse and setting a goal was a foreign concept! So much of my life was just doing the next right thing without considering what I was being called to. No more! After struggles with anxiety and a major depressive episode, I knew I needed to make changes. And I learned how powerful setting goals can be – it’s instrumental to healing and moving forward.

Three Steps Completed

  1. Determine what area of your like is most important to work on
  2. Find your WHY – this requires some thought work!
  3. Set one action step that starts you towards that goal.

The workshop is FREE when I run it on-line. Some may want further coaching after getting started.

Prior to the workshop, get yourself a journal (doesn’t have to be anything fancy – any kind of notebook will do!) a pen and download this life wheel. That’s where we will start.
